Clip-Ins

Tape-Ins

Keratin Bond (Fusion) Extensions
Individual strands attached with a keratin polymer. Beautiful, versatile, and long-wearing — but demanding. They require the most careful aftercare and a skilled hand at removal.
Micro-Ring / Nano-Ring
No heat, no glue — small silicone-lined beads clamp the extension to your hair. Excellent for clients who react to adhesives or want a fully reversible option.
Sew-In / Weft
Braided base, wefts stitched on. Traditionally suited to thicker, coarser hair textures.

What Extensions Actually Cost in Lahore
Pricing varies wildly across the city, and honestly, that variation usually reflects hair quality more than salon markup. Here's what you're really paying for.
The hair itself is the biggest cost driver. True Remy human hair — where cuticles are intact and aligned — costs significantly more than "human hair blend" or synthetic, but it also lasts 3–4 times longer and can be heat-styled. Double-drawn Remy (uniform thickness from root to tip) is the premium tier and gives that dense, salon-campaign look.
Length and volume matter. A 16-inch set for a subtle thickening effect uses far less hair than a 22-inch set for dramatic length. Most clients need 100–200 grams; very thick or very long results can require 250g+.
Application method affects labour cost. Clip-ins are a one-time hair purchase. Tape-ins and bonds involve fitting, colour-matching, custom cutting to blend, and future maintenance appointments every 6–10 weeks.
Colour matching and blending is where salon skill separates a great result from an obvious one. If your natural colour needs adjusting first — a gloss, a root shadow, a balayage blend — that's an additional service worth budgeting for. Many of our extension clients pair the fitting with a hair treatment or gloss for a seamless finish.
As a rough guide for Lahore: expect a good clip-in set to start in the mid-range, tape-ins and micro-rings to sit in the middle-to-upper bracket including fitting, and premium fusion or full-head installs to be the highest investment. How Long Do Extensions Really Last?
Here's the truth most salons don't spell out: the hair lasts longer than the install.
- Clip-ins: 12–24 months with occasional use.
- Tape-ins: Each install lasts 6–8 weeks in place; the same hair can usually be re-taped 2–3 times, giving 4–6 months of total wear.
- Micro-rings: 8–12 weeks per install; hair reusable 2–3 times.
- Keratin bonds: 3–5 months per install; hair not typically reused.
- Sew-ins: 6–10 weeks per install.
What kills extensions early? Sleeping on wet hair, chlorine, sunscreen residue transferring to bonds, harsh sulphates, over-brushing at the roots, and — very commonly in Lahore — mineral-heavy tap water leaving the ends dry and brittle.
Daily Care That Actually Preserves Them
Extensions don't get natural scalp oils travelling down the length the way your own hair does. That means the mid-lengths and ends dry out faster and need dedicated hydration.
- Brush from ends up, always, using a loop brush or soft boar bristle. Hold the roots to protect the attachment points.
- Wash less, condition more. Two to three washes a week is plenty. Use sulphate-free, extension-safe shampoo and keep it on the scalp, not the lengths.
- Deep condition weekly — mid-lengths to ends only. Avoid protein-heavy masks near bonds or tapes.
- Braid or loose-plait before sleeping. Silk or satin pillowcases genuinely reduce matting.
- Heat protectant is non-negotiable. Even Remy hair has been processed; it burns faster than yours.
- Filter chlorine and salt. Wet your extensions with clean water before swimming so they absorb less pool water, and rinse immediately after.
- Book maintenance on time. A delayed reposition appointment causes matting at the root, which shortens the life of the hair itself.

When Extensions Aren't the Right Answer
We'll always tell you honestly if extensions aren't your best move right now. Common reasons we recommend waiting:
- Active hair fall, post-partum shedding, or telogen effluvium — the added weight can stress fragile follicles.
- Very fine or thinning hair at the crown, where tapes and bonds may show.
- Scalp conditions like active dandruff or folliculitis — treat first, extend later.
- Chemically over-processed hair that needs 2–3 months of repair.
In these cases, a course of nourishing treatments, a scalp-focused routine, or even a great cut with strategic layering often gives you the fullness you were chasing — without the maintenance.
